Today we have a special episode from our Earth Harmony Home show archives. Earth Harmony Home was a podcast we did for 2 years when we were living on Kauai. We met many interesting and creative people through doing this show. We plan to select and share more of these interesting and inspirational shows here at Loving Awareness in the coming months.
Today’s episode features a conversation with Carolyn Quan from the time when she was living on Maui. Carolyn created the banner art for our website Earth Harmony Home. When we started doing podcast interviews Carolyn was one of the first people we asked to be on the show.
Carolyn shares the beginnings of her creative journey from her early family influences and her transformation from a graphic artist to becoming a fine artist. Carolyn shares her appreciation for nature that inspires the designs in her work and helps her in seeing her art more clearly.

This interview was done through the telephone and does have the old sound of a telephone to an internet connection. We’ve come a long way in our technical ability to do clear sounding interviews at a distance, and this old technology was a marvel and liberating at the time, allowing us to talk and record interviews with people around the world.
